In just a few weeks the new Halloween movie will be hitting theaters worldwide. The film has yet to debut and there are already talks of making another movie after this one.

According to Bloody-Disgusting.com, Jason Blum, head honcho of Blumhouse Picures, said he hopes to make more films centered around the serial killer we all know as Michael Myers. This will all go down assuming the David Gordon Green-directed sequel is the hit everyone is mentioning it’s going to be.

The report goes on to speculate that if the “producers can get ahead of this massive hit, it’s entirely possible for Michael Myers to return to the big screen as early as October 2019.”

The production house has already started to work on the next Halloween movie. That being said, the studio has high hopes for this new film as they expect to have a massive opening weekend.

That’s not all. The winning formula behind this new film in the Halloween series will NOT be there.

According to the report, they have already started work on the next Halloween movie. Apparently writer Danny McBride and David Gordon Green will probably not be involved. They say that an unknown writer is currently working on the script.

What’s this new Halloween movie about?

The story of this new film takes place four decades after the first installment of Halloween, directed by John Carpenter. It’s been 40 years since Laurie Strode survived a vicious attack from crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night.

Locked up in an institution, Myers manages to escape when his bus transfer goes horribly wrong. Laurie now faces a terrifying showdown when the masked madman returns to Haddonfield, Ill. — but this time, she’s ready for him.

This new movie about the murders that occurred on the 31st of October is suppose to ‘erase’ all the other film that came after the first Halloween film. This was back in the year 1978. How are they going to do that? We will have to see how this story unfolds in the upcoming weeks. This horror flick hits theaters October 19.
