Apex Legends (AL), the recently released game for Playstation 4, got a little over 2.5 million players and nearly 600,000 concurrent upon its launch day. Also, the game broke ten million players and one million concurrent just a couple of days after.
Today, AL marks one week since it went live with no beta testing nor pre-release hype. According to the impact the game has had, AP shows no sign of slowing down. Especially in their community growth.
Respawn head honcho, Vince Zampella, said that it has now rung up more than 25 million players, and “well over two million concurrent players” at peak. He took the news to his Twitter account.

“Since we launched Apex Legends last week on Monday we’ve seen the creation of an Apex Legends community that is excited, thriving, and full of great feedback and ideas. Our goal is to build this game with you, our community. So keep giving us your feedback because we really are listening.”, wrote Zampella in an update.
The is no confirmation yet to the following, but the game could be getting Solo and Duos modes. That is not all. The game could also include ranked play sooner than later.
Besides PS4, AP can be downloaded to Xbox One, and Origin on PC.
