El ‘campaing mode’ de FAR CRY 5 podría completarse en 25 horas

Far Cry 5, la nueva entrega dentro de la reconocida franquicia de juegos de video podría tener una tiempo para completarse.

El productor ejecutivo del juego lo es Dan Hay. Este indicó que el juego mencionado arriba podría completarse en alrededor de 25 horas.

“Lo que estamos viendo es que la gente va a ese mundo y promedia entre cuatro y cinco horas en él. Ya sea pescando, cazando o haciendo cosas para las cuales no estabamos preparados”, indicó Hay a través de una entrevista con GameSpot.

Las 25 horas de duración del juego son un estimado en el se basa la desarrollador del juego. Por ello dicho número depende como el usuario le de uso al videojuego.

Por otra parte Ubisoft, responsables del desarrollo del Far Cry 5, han realizado varias pruebas. Con dichas pruebas se vio que los jugadores se estaban distanciando de la historia original del juego. Esta es la prueba inicial en la que se basa la compañía desarrolladora para indicar que el juego podría completarse en 25 horas.

Al igual que los anteriores juegos de la serie, Far Cry 5 es un juego de acción y aventura en primera persona. El mismo es ambientado en un entorno de mundo abierto (open-world). Este modo es mayormente útil para los jugadores pueden explorar libremente.

El juego cuenta con un nuevo sistema para hacer personajes en donde jugadores pueden crearse así mismos. Esto incluye el género y hasta el tono de la piel. Los jugadores tendrán acceso a una gran variedad de armas y dispositivos para batallar contra un puñado de enemigos.

El juego se enfoca ahora en el renovado combate cercano en comparación con los títulos anteriores de Far Cry. Presentando ahora una gama más amplia de armas blancas.

Far Cry 5 llega a las consolas de Playstation 4, Xbox One y PC este próximo 27 de marzo.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season’s Online Story Builder Lets Fans redo past choices

The interactive, browser-based experience recaps Clementine’s journey and allows users to make choices along the way.

Leading publisher of digital entertainment Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment today launched The Walking Dead: The Final Season Story Builder, an interactive, browser-based experience that allows you to relive the series’ most impactful story-branching moments.

Your choices in the Story Builder produce a unique version of Clementine that can later be imported into the game itself. These choices will then be reflected in The Final Season. The Story Builder is available now and can be accessed here.

Upon completing the Story Builder, you will be given the option to sign in to your Telltale Games Account and save your results to the cloud. By logging into this same account when playing The Final Season on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, you will be able to download your Story Builder choices into the game. The Story Builder will also be available within The Final Season and will be localized in multiple languages for launch. Alternatively, you can import your existing series save files into the game. In addition to building a custom choice profile, those who complete the online Story Builder will also receive a downloadable poster that reflects their individual choices, with 32 total poster variations available. These posters were created by Telltale’s Todd Pound, while visuals for the Story Builder itself were crafted by noted comic book artist Dan Panosian and animator Daniel Kanemoto. Kanemoto also animated the very first The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series trailer in 2012.

Episode one of The Final Season will be available for download starting August 14, 2018 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One across all regions. The Final Season will also come to Nintendo Switch later this year. A free playable demo is available now on Xbox One and PS4. In addition, the game is currently available for pre-order on PC, PS4, and Xbox One for $19.99. All players who pre-order The Final Season will receive download access to each of the season’s four episodes as they become available.

Players who pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One will also immediately receive The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection – which gathers all 19 existing episodes of the award-winning series into a single package – as a free pre-order bonus. PC players who pre-order on Steam, GOG, GamersGate, or the Humble Store will receive 10% off the full retail price. All pre-order offers expire August 14.

Monster Hunter World becomes a monster success!

Monster Hunter World is by far Capcom’s most successful game.

The video game Monster Hunter World just solidified itself as one of the most successful video games of all time. Why you ask? Because their studio Capcom was proud to announce that the game just passed 8 million copies sold before its upcoming release on the PC.

It has been approximately six months since Capcom released this monster hit for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Capcom detailed that Monster Hunter: World’s physical and digital sales hit 8.3 million units during the last fiscal quarter. This brought an increase of 46.5% on the company’s net sales year-over-year. The company said in a statement that, “in this business, the phenomenal success of Monster Hunter: World from the previous fiscal year continued, with the title gaining further popularity through the expansion of its user base.

In scoring a worldwidesmash hit, the series solidified its position as an international brand and strengthened our base of IP.”

Looking forward, Capcom is preparing for the highly-anticipated release of the game for the PC, which is slated to launch on August 9. Moreover, the studio also revealed the specs for the PC version of the game.

As of right now pre-orders for the PC are available on Steam. And also players who will avail of it will receive the Origin Armor Set and the Fair Wind Charm as bonuses.

Monster Hunter World debuted earlier this year. Most games expert have agreed that the game is a flawless one. Announced at E3 2017, Monster Hunter: World adopts the series’ standard formulas from its older home console roots and recent handheld games to take advantage of the higher processing power provided by modern consoles and computers.

Monster Hunter: World is the second best-selling PlayStation 4 video game (7.9 million copies sold). By the looks of it, the product of Capcom could easily top the fourth installment of Uncharted. Right now Uncharted 4 is the top selling game for the Playstation 4 console.
