Better Call Saul

AMC revealed through their Twitter account the brand new trailer for the upcoming season of the hit t.v. show Better Call Saul.

This fourth season, by the looks of the trailer, will focus entirely on the full transformation of Jimmy McGill into Saul Goodman. The character is well known for being a lovably corrupt attorney that became a fan-favorite on the series Breaking Bad.

The new trailer opens up with an unemployed Jimmy, mourning his brother Chuck’s death at his funeral. As Jimmy tries to get back up on his feet and make some money, he ends up teaming up with Mike (Jonathan Banks) on a job and it looks like he’s going to find himself way in over his head.

Here’s the full synopsis for Season 4 of Better Call Saul:

“In Better Call Saul‘s fourth season, Chuck’s death catalyzes Jimmy McGill’s transformation into Saul Goodman. In the wake of his loss, Jimmy takes steps into the criminal world. Thist will put his future as a lawyer — and his relationship with Kim — in jeopardy. Chuck’s death deeply affects former colleagues Howard (Patrick Fabian) and Kim as well. Putting the two of them once again on opposite sides of a battle sparked by the Brothers McGill.

Meanwhile Mike takes a more active role as Madrigal Electromotive’s newest (and most thorough) security consultant. It’s a volatile time to be in Gus Fring’s employ. Because as Hector’s collapse sends shock waves throughout the Albuquerque underworld and throws the cartel into chaos — tearing apart both Gus and Nacho’s well-laid plans. While Gus changes course, Nacho finds himself in the cross-hairs of deadly forces”.

Pokémon Go makers Niantic and Netflix will launch an anime based on Ingress.

The series is based on Niantic’s original mobile phone augmented reality game, which launched in 2013 and has been downloaded by over 20 million users.

The game was a pre-cursor to Niantic’s wildly popular Pokemon Go, which has earned nearly $2 billion since it was released in 2016.

The storyline for Ingress: The Animation will overlap with the ongoing narrative of the video game, as well as introducing the upcoming sequel Ingress Prime.

It takes place in a universe where exotic matter is leaking into the world through portals, granting people special abilities, and the show will focus on two characters, Makoto and Sarah, with the former able to touch things and see their history, and the latter able to see certain aspects of time and space.

“There will be familiar characters and situations that have become famous in the game, but they will be experienced through a fresh interpretation with new characters, new actors,” said John Hanke of developers Niantic. “Think of it like a reboot of a superhero franchise.”

The voice cast for the Japanese version of Ingress: The Animation will include Yoshiki Nakajima as Makoto, Reina Ueda as Sarah, Shigeo Kiyama as new character Jack and Megumi Ogata as ADA, an AI entity in the series. The English voice cast is yet to be announced.

Both Ingress: The Animation and Ingress Prime are expected to launch in October.

Animation studio Crafter will make the series, under the direction of noted computer-graphics artist Yuhei Sakuragi. Neon Genesis Evangelion’s art director Takeshi Honda will oversee the character design.

The launch of the series on Netflix will be timed to the release of the Ingress Prime update for the game that was the forerunner to Pokemon Go. Fuji invested in Niantic before the Google spinout launched Pokemon Go in 2016.
